United States: Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco

Standard

Ghirardelli would be embedded  in a special place in any chocolate lover’s heart! And just like the millions of chocolate lovers across the world, we just could not let the moments like this just pass by.

Upon arriving in San Francisco, we just had to visit Ghirardelli Square at night to take a sampling of the products of the world-renowned chocolatier! Thanks to our relatives who knew that our 8-hour land travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco was somehow exhausting and our tired bodies just needed to be refueled by chocolate to jump start a lovely trip in San Francisco!

And yes,Ghirardelli chocolate did not fail us! It was not my first time to sample their milk chocolate, however, it was my first time to try their lovely hot chocolate brimming to my cup of perfection! It was indeed a perfect combination to the usual chilly and freezing and foggy weather of San Francisco! And indeed, like all the other chocoholics around the world, Ghirardelli definitely made my night!

brimming to perfection!

Since it was also my cousin’s birthday on the same day, we celebrated her birthday as we flown sky lanterns “Tangled” style in the breezy and foggy San Francisco air! We were quite paranoid for fear that the police might arrest us for flying sky lanterns in a public place, but the breeze of San Francisco just knew that we ought to have a good night so the sky lanterns were just swept over the sea, just like sparkling diamonds in the sky!

hazy San Francisco fog!

And yes, this was the start of  “I left my heart in San Francisco!”

On the way home, we passed by the world renowned Embarcadero building of San Francisco!
